Tea Party Caucus

So Rep. Michele Bachmann has founded the Tea Party Caucus. Whether this is a good or bad thing is vet to be seen.
She claims it is because people in the tea party movement say they are not being heard by Washington. The party is open to all parties and it formed to focus on lower taxes, smaller government, and things like that.
This sounds like a good thing. Maybe people in Washington are finally starting to listen. Or it could be one of those ideas that are good on paper but after nothing gets accomplished it fades away.
Although I am a republican, I am for any person who will go to Congress and do a few things:
1) Reduce taxes - I know people say this all the time, but I have some specifics. The same government body (Federal, State, ad Local) should not tax the same money twice. This means that we should eliminate the estate tax. The Federal Government should do away with either the income tax or the sales tax (otherwise they tax it when you get it and when you spend it.)
2) Reduce spending. You can see from an earlier post of mine that most (upwards of 90% plus) is in three areas. We need to reduce those areas. This means reducing/getting rid of entitlements.
3) Reform social security and gradually do away with it. Things are very different then they were 60 years ago. All people can easily set up retirements plans. If they need help that is fine, but let us keep our money!!! I would give up all that I had put in, and never take back a dime, if I could stop putting money in and invest it myself instead.
4) Do something about illegal immigration. It is not hard. They got here by themselves. Take away the money and housing and they can return by themselves. Let them come here legally!!!
Hopefully this tea party movement will enact some changes that help fulfill my wishes above. Maybe this tea party caucus will even help. I know the main thing that will help is if the tea party movement stays strong and all incumbents are replaced this fall!!!
